Effect Description:

A small text field that shows up at the right border of the screen. It counts units of a certain player and type. Once this player possesses a given amount of those units the counter disappears and fires a trigger.

Effect Parameters:

Name: The name the trigger interface uses. For example, you can stop the counter with Counter Stop and use this name to tell Counter Stop which counter to stop. The player does not see this name.
Player: The player who has to build the given amount of units. The other players can see the counter as well.
ProtoUnit to Build: The unit type to build. Note that the names displayed in that list are proto names, i.e. they sometimes differ from the names that are displayed in the normal game.
Total: The needed amount of that unit type.
Message: The message that you see in front of the counter.
Trigger: The trigger that is fired when enough units were built. Basically a Fire Event.

Notes:

  • The counter simply counts the amount of units on the map. This means it also works when you create the requested amount of units with triggers or by other means.
  • You can find out the proto names by searching the list or downloading this (http://aoe3.heavengames.com/downloads/showfile.php?fileid=87) patch.
