Waterfalls can be a very nice touch to any scenario in AoE3 However, there is no simple way to make them. this is a guide on how to do it.

1. Use the elevation tool to make a lump of raised land the height you want the top of the waterfall to be. Then put in a pool of water, and keep dragging the water over

the edge of the elevation. This will make floating water. Keep dragging a little bit away from the edge of the raised land.

2. Next, on the default height, place another pool of water close the edge of the floating water, but not under. Some bits of the higher water should become vertical water, connecting with the lower pool. If all of it does not connect, or there is gaps, use the smoother tool on the area where the water will not connect. If it still will not connect, use the elevation tool (make sure to make the brush size smaller first) and make the gap go DOWN. Then smooth it out again.

3. Now add cliffs and eyecandy, eg. rocks, water plants.
