Message

Message is an Effect which is accessed from the Triggers menu. You can learn more about the Triggers window here. You can learn more about using effects here.

Effect Description:

Displays a small window at the top of the screen that contains text. Has a button to be closed.

Effect Parameters:

Text: The text you want to show to the player.
Timeout (ms): How long the window remains on the screen if the player doesn't close it. -1, the default, is 10 seconds. Any other value has to be specified in milliseconds.

Notes:

• The box fades away in the last second of the given time. (This fading takes about 1 second.)
