Triggerless Roads

A simple way to make "roads" with AOE2.

Step 1: Have a villager lay down the foundation for a farm.

Do not let him/her construct the farm even a smidgeon, or this trick will not have quite the desired effect.

Step 2: Destroy the farm base.

This produces a 3x3 patch of dirt2 (which is what you want).

Repeat until you have a long trail of dirt 2 from farm foundations.

NOTE:If you should happen to build a farm, delete it anyway and lay the foundation for a palisade or other building there. DO NOT BUILD THAT FOUNDATION EITHER.
